How to measure for curtains When planning a window treatment, careful measuring is the key to achieving the look you want. For great results, follow these easy steps to determine the hardware and window panel length you will need. Guide to Window Hardware Is your window a square? Before deciding on which mount you will use, measure your window to be sure it is square. next green textured weave square eyelet curtainsMeasure diagonally from the two top corners to the two bottom corners. next green textured weave square eyelet curtainsIf the two measurements are significantly different, the window is off-kilter and you should choose the Wall Mount.reflective mylar curtains
Choose a Mounting Option: Mounting hardware brackets directly to the trim shows off the actual size of your window. To bring a fuller look to your window, use this option. Mount hardware brackets 3 inches beyond and 4-6 inches above the window trim. If you're mounting Roman shades or want your molding to show, you'll want to use an Inside Mount. The hardware should be attached just inside the frame. Once you have chosen the mounting option that works best for your window, it's time to measure your windows to determine hardware length. Keep in mind that if you have chosen the Wall Mount option, you will need to add 6 inches to the length of your rods. Also, depending on what style you choose, finials can add up to 4 inches on each end of the rod, so you want to make sure there is enough clearance to allow for your finials. To create a layered window treatment, you will need hardware that can accommodate two panels. Our Double Add-On Kit comes in all the same sizes and finishes as our rods.
Guide to Window Panels Curtains should always be long enough to reach the windowsill, but how much farther they extend is a personal decision. There are two options for displaying your window treatments: to the sill (or just below the sill) and to the floor. For deeply recessed windows, you'll want the window panel to be at sill length, or just below. If the width of your mounting measurement is less than 88", we recommend at least two panels. If your measurement exceeds 88", additional panels will be required for total coverage. Shorter curtains make a formal room more casual. Measure from the top of the window mount (A, B, C) to the sill (C) or just below the sill (D). Floor-length curtains lend presence to a small window. Measure from the top of the window mount (A, B) to the floor (E). Do not place cribs within 18 inches of curtain panels, curtain pulls or curtain cords. Keeping cribs away from windows is your best option to ensure safety. In stock furniture is ready to ship in 1 to 2 weeks after it has been inspected and carefully packaged for transit and delivery.

Rosenberry Rooms uses FedEx and UPS to ship most items. Oversized items, such as large furniture pieces, require extra care in shipping and are handled by an In-Home Delivery Service. When placing an order for a large item, you will be given the option of choosing Standard Delivery or Premier Delivery.
Items that are shipped using the Standard Delivery Service are placed inside the main threshold of your home or building. Because these large items are bulky and heavy and require special consideration, the cost to ship them is much higher than for other items. Therefore, these items have a delivery surcharge associated with them, in addition to the regular delivery charges. The Standard Delivery Surcharge will be clearly stated under Home Delivery Options in the product page. Generally, Standard Delivery via an In-Home Delivery Service takes 2-4 weeks for freight transit (in addition to the standard lead time for the item being delivered). The Premier Delivery Service (also called "White Glove Delivery") consists of placement of the item in the room of your choice, unpacking the item, assembly, and bundling of the packaging debris. Premier Delivery is available to you at an additional charge. The Premier Delivery Surcharge will be clearly stated under Home Delivery Options in the product page.
