Video Watch our Video to see just how simple it is to make a sunny room fit for your baby to sleep soundly.Visit our FAQ’s page to find out more about the Gro Anywhere Blind Easy to adjust for varying windows, didn't take long to put up at all! Blocks out most light, we will be using this at home too, hoping it will help our girls sleep better in the lighter months!! Easy to carry around and has saved our sleep on a couple of holidays where holiday homes have light-coloured curtains! The suckers seem to get easier to stick as time goes on so don't worry if (as happened with us) you get it out of its packing and it refuses to stick to the glass. A bit of moisture and you're away. Fanastic I brought one of these to go in my son's room as the light disturbed him when he was a baby, he's now 3 and a half and we still use it on a nightly basis, we also have one for our baby daughter now too!! I Love that when we go away we can just pack it up and it will adjust to any window!
It works better for us than a simple blackout blind as fits snug to the window by the suction cups. Products to Gro Anywhere with Afternoon Tea Chair Harness Ideal when you’re out and about and... It's really spacious (but packs up well) with lots of thoughtful and useful extras like lots of pockets to put odds and bobs in. Went up quickly (although it might have been the expert putter upper!) and dismantled easily too. No arguments - either with the tent, the service or between those staying in it!
Vango got it wrong this time!, 09 September 20161st weekend weather was OK, tent was fine. 2nd weekend, when we put it up a pole split 1/3 of the way down its length. Then, good old fashioned Scottish rain from the west. We had large puddles of water on the inner tent and all down the western side. I was dripped on in the porch area. The hoops are all the same height which means there is no proper run-off so water puddles on the roof. poorly designed Vango, Very disappointed. See newer version the Iris. Vango recognised the problem! Vango Icarus 500 deluxe, 04 September 2016 Mixed feelings on this one.Bought the tent a week before the price dropped 50 quid..Also found a small rip in the fly sheet, when checking it over a couple of weeks after purchase..Perhaps, I should be less honest but felt it too late to return and swap for replacement, at the cheaper price, given I had it a couple of weeks by now. Other minor gripes, the carpet supplied was for 500 standard version, which is slightly smaller than living space for the deluxe version but this does fit the bed room nicely, so decided to keep this too.
Anyway, fixed the rip problem and now tried it out. Generally, this is a nice tent, easy to pitch, even in windy conditions it was not too hard. The bed space is roomy, with good storage space (There was just two of us and kit) and it has comfortable living area. The windows give good light to the living space, making for a relaxing space to read, or to watch the rain and other campers running about to get out of it (the rain). The tent works well in good weather, and to be fair, stood up to wind and rain over the weekend, not leaks, although it did flex a bit when the wind pushed through. The tent dried quickly, when the weather improved. The road test flagged up a few flaws, many mentioned in other reviews - If it is raining, you have to be quick with the doors, as the tent design/doors slope backwards (should have spotted this myself) so the rain comes in to the living space, meaning a mop up operation is required. (Suggestion to Vango, perhaps design a canopy attachment, at least for the front door, as the awning extension will have the same problem to the front).
Zips can get caught up and the internal fly screen is a bit of a pain, as it needs to be closed separately from the main door. Some condensation in living space on first night, seem to be solved by opening the vents in bedroom to increase air flow..see how it goes?In conclusion, a comfortable summer and weekend tent. Will see how it fairs over the Autumn. Certainly more comfortable than our smaller 350 unit, which has its own shortfalls, and lighter/easier than our larger ten, that takes ages to set up. Hope this review will help others make the right choice for their needs Vango 500 deluxe poor quality zips, 28 August 2016 Bought the tent on the 20th of august and went to filey the following weekendal to try it out before we take the grandchildren away so we were both really looking forward to our trip only to Be let down .the tent was extremely easy to put up but when trying to shut the front door one of the zips was jamd so we had to leave the door shut plus the over door zips look to be of same
Vango Icarus 500 Deluxe Tent, 26 August 2016 Simple to put up, easy to unfold and refold and strong build. However, I've had a frame pole break on me once. 1 2 3 4 5 6 24 25 next YOUR ORDER, YOUR WAY At GO Outdoors we offer a wide range of delivery options to suit your needs.
