On last night’s episode of Dancing With The Stars, the entire crew took advantage of Halloween and came to the ballroom decked out in costume for the occasion. And always-stylish hostess Erin Andrews took it as an opportunity to play around with a darker, more gothic look. The 38-year-old star showed off her personality in a slinky sparkly black Lorena Sarbu gown with a high slit, paired with a fun pair of lace bunny ears (hers are from TopShop!) to complete the sexy bunny costume. “All throughout the week, we were trying to figure out what I could do costume-wise without being over the top,” Andrews told PeopleStyle. “It was perfect for me – simple but still a touch of Halloween!” RELATED PHOTOS: 6 Stars Who Prove You Can Make Anything Sexy for Halloween To also honor Halloween, Andrews wanted a deep lip and dramatic eye makeup. “Dark eyes, dark lips and lots of cheeks are typically a makeup no, no,” said the star’s makeup artist, Lisa Ashley.
“This could have been bad to the bone. But in this case, Erin was so stunning with all the color it created Halloween hotness.” Ashley created a “modern, smudgy, smoky look” using all cream products on Andrews’ eyes, even grabbing a blush to complete it. “[I blended] a deep burgundy cream blush (yes, blush!) by Stila in the crease and [below the] brow bone. Then I used the same product under her black liner on the lower lash line,” Ashley explained. The hostess achieved her autumn-appropriate wine lip for the night using the NYX Slide On Lip Pencil in ‘Dark Soul’ topped with a NARS gloss. Plus for a fun Halloween touch, Ashley added a pair of sparkly Ardell false lashes to complement the entire look. The star’s hairstylist Ryan Randall decided to keep Andrews’ hair down in loose curls with her bunny ears. First, he rough dried her hair with Bumble and bumble Hairdresser’s Invisible Oil Protective Primer. “Then I used a Harry Josh 1.25″ marcel iron, with R+Co GRID Structural Hold Setting Spray to give it wave and body,” Randall said.
“For a beachy and textured finish, I raked a bit of Oribe Dry Texturizing Spray through with my fingers.” “I guess I hadn’t worn my hair down all season, because everyone was commenting that it was nice to finally see it down,” Andrews said. Despite loving the completed look, Andrews did keep experiencing one minor malfunction throughout the night. sienna linen look voile eyelet ring top curtain panels“The only problem was the ears were very tall. montgomery mimosa curtains charcoal[She ended up being 6-ft.6-in. with both the ears and heels on.] anno unni curtainsI literally kept running into all the curtains and falling back,” the star laughed. the tortilla curtain jose navidad

It’s this originality of thinking that infuses every room of the Brooklyn brownstone she shares with her architect husband and two young sons. The space—bright, glamorous, and worldly—reflects her rich and rewarding design journey, which started in Europe and has resulted in a successful eponymous firm. While living in Paris, she was surrounded by the city’s inspired buildings and shops and soon became a regular at its famed flea markets. “It gave me a real appreciation for vintage and mixing Old World elements with contemporary pieces,” she says. “That is a very French thing.” From France, she moved to New York and had stints working at an Art Deco gallery and the furniture department at Christie’s auction house. As a self-described “ruse,” Galli applied as an interior designer at Robert A.M. Stern Architects. “I should not have been hired, but I was. And three years later, I was Robert’s personal decorator, designing his homes, including his loft when he was appointed dean at Yale School of Architecture,” Fawn says.
It was an invaluable education for her. “Robert has such intuition and a romantic relationship with architecture. It was a great study in how things are built.” After a position with architect/designer Peter Marino (“a master at materials and fabrics”) and a sojourn to Madrid, Galli was ready to return to New York to start her own business. In all her projects, Galli’s approach is open: “I will do anything. Nothing is off-limits for my spaces.” See how she puts this maxim to use at home.Ocean Thakur BlogsThanks for everyone for liking/ commenting on my videos.
