Back then, my main focus was tags, so i chose a six letter word that would give me many kicks and flicks. En Australia no teníamos acceso a botes europeos baratos. Cuando empecé como escritor, cualquier spray importado de Europa costaba alrededor de 8€ ó 9€. Así que tuvimos que utilizar una gran cantidad de sprays baratos de mala calidad de Australia, lo que fue bueno porque me enseñó a pintar mejor cuando tuve pintura europea. Así que ahora uso casí todo! In australia, we didn’t have access to cheap european cans.

When i begun as a writer, any spray can that was imported from Europe was about 8-9euro. So we had to use a lot of cheap, bad quality australian cans, which was good because it taught me to paint better when i had European paint. So i now use pretty much everything! Cuando pinto letras, la cosa más importante para mi es el estilo y la composición. Con esto, puedo crear un estilo que puede llegar a ser fluido y agresivo. Me gusta pintar mis piezas de una manera que parezca una batalla en la pared. Mis personajes son cosas nuevas para mi, ha sido mi principal objetivo de los últimos años. Estoy en el realismo, pero puedo sentir algo para empezar a ser más abstracto.. Voy a tener que esperar y a ver qué sucede. When i paint letters, the most important thing for me is style and composition. With this, i can create a flow that can become fluid and aggressive. I like to paint my pieces in a way that they seem to battle everything else on the wall. My characters are a new thing for me, it’s been my main focus for the past few years.

Im very into realism, but i can feel a pull to start becoming more abstract… i’ll have to wait and see what happens. Es bueno ver un sitio web que profundiza en muchos artistas increíbles. You really get to understand another artist differently when you read about how they produce there work. Fue primero el color y el tamaño. It was first the colour and the size. I’ve always been drawn to Wildstyle, and there were a crew of artists in Melbourne, my city in Australia called the “Wild Child Artists” who blew me away the first time i saw them.

I couldn’t read any of it,  but i was amazed by the complexity of the pieces and the way they used colour and style to give there letters attitude. Mis personajes son una forma de retratos. Me siento muy inspirado por grandes maestros como Leonardo Da Vinci y otros pintores clásicos. Tengo muchas ganas de evocar emociones en el espectador con mis retratos, ya sea la envidia o lástima y sobre todo hacer esto tratando de captar una expresión particular. With my letters, it’s a wild, organic, aggressive style. When i was younger i was obsessed with the movie Aliens. As i begun to paint graffiti i later realised that my style resembled the aliens from the film. ikea fredrika curtainsI’ve worked on the same letter style since i begun graffiti and i am proud to call it my own. My character work is very much in the way of Portraits. I am very inspired by old masters like Leonard Da Vinci and other classic painted. I really want to evoke emotion in the viewer with my portraits, whether it be envy or pitty and i mainly do this by trying to capture a particular expression.
